Gather close, wayward souls, and lend thine ears to Fate.

A battered wagon creaks into a forgotten village,

carrying with it a tale of blood, ruin, and judgement.

Within its painted boards lies the story of a knight who once believed

themselves stronger than death itself. A warrior who slew without mercy.

A soul so buried beneath iron and violence that even the heavens turned their gaze away.

Yet there are fates fouler than dying.

For on the ashes of a burning village, this knight shall be cursed to walk the earth forever —

unable to age, unable to perish, and unable to escape the shadow festering within.

Now the tale begins.

And so too does thy trial.

On a lonely road, amidst slaughtered bandits and stolen gold,

the knight discovers a creature untouched by fear: a stray hound.

Though rejected and ignored, the beast follows faithfully behind the cursed warrior.

The years stretch onward, yet something strange begins to stir within the knight’s hollow breast.

The hound refuses to leave their side.

Through forests, rivers, and battlefields alike, the faithful creature follows the immortal wanderer.

A small light against endless night.
